One of the explanations for Jimmy Hendrix's song "Purple Haze" is that he had a dream where he was walking underwater, which was made possible by the could of purple haze he was engulfed by. Another version is a love song. And probably the most known reference relates to a psychadelic LSD experience.

I think this paintint is so beautiful and love the vibrant purple! While it wasn't created with Jimmy Hendrix in mind, the name felt appropriate. Homage to creative genius and the colour purple!
