Cosmic fiery explosions; so beautiful is the magnificence of space. I have, since I can remember, had a fascination with space. Never from a scientific perspective, always from a mystical one. Cosmic Fire represents explosions in space, or more specifically, starts exploding in space. I sometimes wonder how a star knows it’s done being a star? Imagine that - being so big, bright and powerful, that at one moment you just know you’re done - done being a star! And so the next evolution begins… For me it goes to show there is always more. There is always a next stage, always an evolutionary force - the transformation is never complete, just ‘complete for now’. Once a star knows all there is to know about being a star it is ready for its next evolution of supernova cosmic fire… a fuel so potent and so beautiful and worthiest of the greatest admiration and adoration. This is one of my favourite pieces - I adore how this one crafted itself over a few days. The creative process was such a gift.
